Tried and works Did notice macbook slowing down when first plugged in the adapter, daisy-chained to the USB-C port of another dongle with a wireless keyboard/mouse received plugged in. Since then using it on a dedicated port, and seems to work fine. Did not test speed so far.

Be aware that (at least in my product) the HUB interurps wireless signals, such as wireless keyboard and mouse, so they don't work if they are connected to the hub. you'll have to use some kind of extension cord, so it won't be close to the hub.
